Project 6:8 is a grassroots organization, we rely solely on individuals like yourself to provide used men's clothing, blankets, tents, toiletries (new) to our homeless friends. Sure you can donate everything to a thrift store and they will resell everything for a profit. Not a bad deal, but donations to Project 6:8 go directly to the homeless. Think of it as a tax write-off in heaven. (We are also a 501-c3 non-profit)

We accept new and used camping supplies including but not limited to:

toiletries (travel size, new)
jeans/sweatpants
hoodies/sweatshirts
t-shirts
socks, shoes and boots
underwear (new)
jackets
snow gear
tents, tarp
blankets and pillows
We do not accept women's and children's clothes.

Every week we cook a hot nutritious meal and we serve it "under the bridge". We show up to serve every week regardless of weather, traffic, sporting events or even a pandemic.

Gospel Bible Study

Bible Study for Everyone

Every week we bring our friends and volunteers to a Bible Study at Miracle City Church. We study God's word in a safe environment with other people who are experiencing homelessness.

Our friendship stands in stark contrast to the reality of homeless life. We are warm, friendly and inviting. We are stable, sober and mindful of spiritual things. We freely give our time without any expectations in return.

Truck Driver

"The Spotless Lamb"

At the heart of our logistics, a 16 foot box truck we call, "The Spotless Lamb". We drive this 2018 Chevy engine on a 22 mile round trip to "Under the Bridge" each week. She always starts (and drives great) however, we need more people to help drive. If you are an excellent driver and don't mind taking wide corners...this ride is for you! Our costs are minimal, some storage space to store donations and a nice church to have Bible Study. There are no paid "volunteers" at Project 6:8, just a solid grassroots foundation. We do occasionally have an event, like a Christmas party or Summer picnic. Your donations are used to fund all of these things, we can't do it without you!
